Carol Benton, CHt, CPC, MBPT is a clinically certified hypnotherapist, transformational coach, psychedelic integration support provider, & Mindfulness Based Psychedelic Therapist and guide with a private practice in San Diego.

She graduated with Honors and Awards from the prestigious Hypnosis Motivation Institute, the first nationally accredited college for hypnotherapy training in the nation. Carol has a B.A. in Communications and has completed MAPS Zendo training, Oaksterdam University semester program in cannabis horticulture and business practices, advanced training in Mindfulness-Based Psychedelic Therapy (levels 1-4) and Psychedelic First Aid with the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness.

Carol facilitates individual cannabis-assisted psychedelic therapy sessions for clients, both in person and online, and Conscious Cannabis Ceremony Circles for groups. Carol also facilitates a monthly peer supervision Zoom call for other Psychedelic Sitters School graduates and Cannabis-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy practitioners as a shared community resource.

In addition to having a love of gardening for (the) herb and vegetables, Carol has a passion for music and enjoys creating playlists for the sessions she facilitates. The focus of her work is “ to help others live in alignment with the mind body spirit connection and reclaim a life infused with JOY, LOVE and PEACE as our rightful heritage. “

Carol believes that through releasing the stored energy around trauma, changing our thoughts and subconscious programming, we improve the world around us and move towards a life of expanded possibilities. She is a BiPOC & LGBTQIA ally and uses the pronouns she/her/they.
